Chocolate seduction
Saturday, September 27, 2008
It's raining...it's pouring...with thunder... a very gray Saturday...
I'm taking advantage of the gloomy weather and working on some creepy clay creatures.
Last night we went to a local fair...where I ate yummy butterfly chips...hot thin slices of potatoes with cheese sauce.

My youngest son played lots of fair games... like this one...

Sunday stroll
The best thing about Sunday antiquing is that you get to spend a whole morning and afternoon strolling outside on a beautiful Fall day... talking to people, sharing interests... on the hunt for that special treasure... there was even a fire burning in the outdoor fireplace today!
...and you can pick up treasures for very little money. (even less if you are good at bargaining...which I'm very slowly learning) Look what I found for a total of $10.00. (I didn't even bargain..it doesn't come easy for me, especially with these prices...but most people do)
A star burst pin...$4.00

A lily of the valley pin...$2.00
You can't beat that for several hours of entertainment and value.

Football Friday
An apple a day
You know Fall has arrived when you start to see caramel apples!
I love fall...cool mornings and evenings, the leaves turning colors, wearing sweaters, the smell of wood and burning leaves, orange pumpkins, gourds and Fair season..which to me means...plenty of fair food!! We've already gone to one local fair, but we've got plenty more coming up. There are so many celebrations in the Fall...so many opportunities to make wonderful memories. So many family traditions...lots of warmth all around...like the way hot chocolate with extra marshmallow feels in your belly...
and...I'm so excited.....
I'm unpacking the Halloween decorations!
Fall ...you make me feel all cozy inside.
Happy Friday everyone!
How are you enjoying your Fall days?
