Happy New Year Everyone!
Nothing better than candlelight.
daytime look
I prefer to be off the roads on this night. We always cook up a hodge-podge of snacks like stuffed mushrooms, potato skins, cheeses, cocktail hot dogs, wings, veggies and dips...all kinds of grazing foods. My kids have sparkling apple cider and I have champagne as the New Year rolls in.
For the last few years, my daughter has been going to a sleepover party with her group of friends... so we miss her as the clock strikes twelve. It's nice though ... because I don't have to worry about her being on the roads. The boys and I make plenty of noise on our own.
Happy 2009!
Here's to the bright New Year And a fond farewell to the old; Here's to the things that are yet to come... And to the memories that we hold.
